From the Artist: The Deuce of Death is our 1967 Kaiser-Jeep M35A2, turned Zombie apocalypse vehicle. Fitted with several different kinds of zombie destruction devices and markings to show the civilian population that we are the good guys. If you see us in the area, and aren’t craving brains, be on the lookout for those that are.

My wife and I found this truck in Las Vegas, a day after we got married there, at a zombie hunting experience we went on. We actually have a photo taken with it behind us, from the first day of our honeymoon.

A year or so later, the zombie apocalypse store that owned it closed their doors. When my wife found out they were closing, she told me to get on their website and buy some close out shirts. I saw the truck listed on the site and she agreed that we could buy it because of the sentimental value. When we got it to Texas, it did not run and needed some cosmetic repairs, so we got to work.

Once I got it running, my wife and I went through it front to back, repairing some existing art, and adding our own personal touches. Every year since then, we have worked to keep it running, and have added little artistic touches here and there.
